How to organize trade show leads with the Handshook lead capture and lead retrieval app

The trade show lead capture app Handshook makes it easy to scan business card or badges, extract contact information, and organize that information with tags and notes, and export it to your CRM or email marketing system.

How to add tags to new contacts on the fly:

  1. Scan a business card or name badge
  2. Tap the action menu icon “+” in the bottom right corner 
  3. Tap “Tag”
  4. Tap “+ Add Tag” to add a custom tag
  5. Or select from the existing tags by tapping each that apply once.

How to add tags before you attend a trade show or networking event:

  1. Open the app and click the settings icon in the top left corner
  2. Tap the “Customize” link
  3. Tap “Customize Tags”
  4. Tap “+ Add Tag” to add custom tags
  5. Tap and hold existing tags to remove them from the app.
